Fried Rice Recipe

The recipes shown here are not entirely original from Indonesia. However they have been quite popular among the Indonesians' tounge for long time, and most of them have been served as daily menu, mixed with those original ones of Indonesia. So the beginning idea of this site is just to share these recipes which I had found from old cooking books and printed medias before they ruin eaten by their age someday. Then I added the items every time I found the new ones.

Egg Rolled Fried Rice

Ingredients:

1 plate white boiled/steamed rice
100 gram chicken, slice cube
4 shrimps, sliced
3 eggs, stir each well together with some salt, make thin ommelete
2 cloves garlic, thinly slice
2 shallots, slice thin
1 spoon lime juice
2 spoon cooking oil
1 spoon tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
some celery

Method:
  • Saute onion and garlic, shrimps and chicken till the color changes.
  • Add steamed rice, tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  • Take it out of the wok, divide into three parts, put each part onto the ommelete then roll it. Arrange it neatly.
  • Serve them on plate and slice each them into 2-3 pieces.
  • Sow some selery on them.
